It’s a wonderful play but everyone knows that the Miami Dolphins are going to it.

The play is a wonderful play especially when you have the fastest man alive in the known multi-verse. We saw it all the time from the Kansas City Chiefs and we saw it a bunch last week from the Miami Dolphins.

It’s a play where it’s typically 3rd and around 5 or less and Tyreek Hill is motioning all over the backfield. The goal is simply to have Hill, in motion, doing a zip out for an easy, usually wide-open, completion that picks up the necessary yardage.

The Miami Dolphins ran it at least 2-4 times last week and I don’t think they got it once.

I understand how juicy it is to run it. The Chiefs ran it all the time and it worked most of the time. But Tua isn’t Mahomes and this offense doesn’t have the cashay to run that all the time. No need to go to that well so often.

Mike McDaniel is smart and he has explosive, skilled receivers all over the roster. I have full confidence that he will recognize this and have plenty of different options to go to on 3rd and manageable.

Also, let’s refrain from deep/touch throws to Alec Ingold on 3rd and one. I love him but that ain’t his game.
