Jerome Baker needs to have a good game for the Miami Dolphins in order to keep the Ravens’ rushing attack, grounded.

Jerome Baker is a very good interior linebacker who can stretch the field and make plays. He has great pursuit angles and can stretch a play to the sideline but he has to make impact plays at the line of scrimmage. If he can do that, he can set the tone defensively.

Miami is likely to use a defensive back or safety to cover Mark Andrews but Andrews will try and get behind or cross in front of the linebackers and Baker could be put into a coverage situation throughout the game. He can not let Andrews dictate the game.

While his own play is important, Baker needs to make sure the rest of the defense is lining up correctly and they are feeding off each other. This is a good game for Baker to make a statement. His consistency shows each week but my guess would be that the Ravens try and take him out of the game early with their scheme.
