How the Miami Dolphins can beat the Buffalo Bills:

5. Get production from WRs not named Hill/Waddle

If it wasn’t true before, it certainly is after the showing they had in Baltimore: Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle could very well be the best wide receiver duo in the NFL. We all saw the performance from the speedy pass catchers on Sunday. We’ve heard all the gaudy statistics and read the record-breaking box scores.

And so has everyone else.

For some of the more mediocre teams that the Dolphins will play this season, that won’t be a problem. The duo of Hill and Waddle will often be too difficult to game plan for, but maybe not for the Buffalo Bills. They boast perhaps one of the league’s best defenses, and if there is anyone who can have an answer for the speedsters from South Florida, it would be them.

So perhaps Miami will have to get other wide receivers involved in the game plan for this Sunday, something that we haven’t seen much of over the first two weeks. Trent Sherfield, Cedrick Wilson Jr., and River Cracraft have caught a total of 6 combined passes to start the season for a whopping 39 yards.

If the Bills are somehow able to scheme for the Dolphins’ top 2 receivers, then one of the aforementioned pass catchers will need to step up. Maybe we’ll even see the NFL debut of rookie wide-out Erik Ezukanma, who could be an unplanned x-factor if he is available to go this weekend.
