Terron Armstead was expected to be the veteran leader of this team and needed to be the guy to give Tua Tagovailoa time and protection.

Through two weeks, he has done just that and has been extremely effective at doing so. He was able to play all 71 snaps even though he was dealing with a toe injury.

He was the calming presence Tua Tagovailoa needed on the go-ahead drive late in the fourth quarter. Terron Armstead was there to calm him down and make sure he was not rushing to the line.

Terron Armstead and this Miami Dolphins offensive line have been blitzed 31 times, and only allowed 4 sacks, 5 knockdowns, and 14 hurries through 2 games.

If you would’ve told Miami Dolphins fans this would be what the offensive line could look like with an all-pro left tackle I’m sure everyone would sprint to sign up for it.

Terron Armstead has been a key cog in the machine for the development of this young line as well. I think you can owe a lot of the success of the next guy to Terron Armstead.

This week he got to handle the powerful duo of Odafe Oweh and Justin Houston. He passed with flying colors. The leadership is a nice addition on top.
