The Miami Dolphins defense made day one maybe day 2 mistakes out there, over and over again.
If the Miami Dolphins are going to run the zero coverage, which allows them to run bring the house from all angles then the guys who aren’t blitzing need to know who they’re guarding.
The first two scores by the Bills were probably going to be a few of the easier ones they’re going to have all year. They were wildly blown coverages. It happened when the Miami Dolphins were blitzing 6-7 players leaving 4-5 players still in man coverage. The Dolphins run this style all the time but I don’t recall seeing guys this wide-open. Probably has something to do with the fact that Allen and the Bills are really good.
Miami won the game though this happened and I’m ecstatic about it. But it really can’t happen again. If Miami is going to continue to major in this defensive approach, the linebackers are going to need to know who they have if they aren’t blitzing. It’s as simple as that.
