Well, this one was ugly for Liam Eichenberg. The man got eaten up by Greg Rousseau and was tough to watch in this one.

I do not want to say that Liam Eichenberg was saved from worse misery because of the absence of Ed Oliver, but I think it is fair to say that the matchup would not have been fun to watch.

Every Miami Dolphins fan has recently been calling for Liam Eichenberg to be taken out of the lineup. He has not provided much help along the line and has been an extremely weak spot.

He currently has an overall grade of 32.3 ranking from Pro Football Focus, ranking him 69th of 71 eligible guards.

Left guard was supposed to be the easiest spot to play this season in between all-pro Terron Armstead and run-blocking beast Connor Williams. That has not shaped out for Liam Eichenberg.

The Miami Dolphins will continue to cheer very hard against the San Francisco 49ers in hopes of a high draft pick to take either a linebacker or an offensive lineman.

Liam Eichenberg was expected to be replaced this offseason but he truly is a huge detriment to this team so far this season. He needs to pick up his play if he even wants a shot at holding his spot.
