Talk about a guy who has been nothing but exciting this season for the Miami Dolphins so far, look no further than Connor Williams.

He is having a great season so far and figured out with some great coaching how to limit those rough penalties from a year ago.

He only has 2 penalties on the young season so far but has not allowed a sack yet. He took a huge step in his pass-blocking however this week.

He posted a 75.2 pass-blocking grade this week according to PFF. That brings his season overall grade to 65.7 bringing him in at 13th of 37 eligible centers.

Connor Williams was expected to be a guy who needed some work to figure out how to more efficiently use his feet and hands in pass blocking to eliminate his holding calls.

He has done a very good job at that so far, especially this week. He got a lot of Tim Settle and DaQuan Jones this week and did a really good job handling that.

He didn’t allow a single pressure, nor did he allow a single hurry, QB hit, or sack. It was an overall very impressive week from the road grating center.

He will get another nice test this week against BJ Hill. It is a matchup that I think will take shape in the run game. The Bengals will be down DJ Reader who currently ranks as the top defensive tackle in the NFL against the run.
