Make NFL QBs and other players who are more susceptible to concussions wear different helmets.

The NFL has messed around with different styles of helmets in the past but along the way they didn’t come across as aesthetically pleasing. Some players thought it made them look goofy and for whatever reason, the NFL never let them stick.

During training camp, teams require several player positions including linemen to wear padded covers over their helmets, so why not add them to the helmet itself? Make it more minimalistic, and lighter and incorporate it under the helmet.

If the league is truly interested in protecting the brain, then they should be incorporating in-season options as well as in camps.

This should be a goal of both the NFL and the NFLPA. There are those in the medical world working on potential options but why haven’t we seen the NFL pour their billion-dollar industry into it yet fully? It makes you wonder.

If the NFL is doing this and researching this, it is something they are doing a poor job of advertising.
