Miami Dolphins receive: RT Taylor Moton

Carolina Panthers receive: QB Teddy Bridgewater and 2023 3rd Round Pick

This trade would receive so many sighs of relief all around South Florida. Miami needs a REAL right tackle so badly. The Carolina Panthers need a competent quarterback REALLY bad.

This deal helps both sides and gives the Panthers a 3rd round pick to help with the salary of Teddy Bridgewater. The Panthers have a big rebuild ahead and look to be sellers.

The Miami Dolphins can compete right now and with a rebuilt offensive line this team can be a Super Bowl contender right now. Moton would be that guy for this team.

I am a huge fan of Moton’s game, as the 28-year-old would be under team control until 2026. Making $14.3 million a year after 2023, and only $1.03 million this year, this deal gives the Miami Dolphins lots of flexibility.

He is a top-5 right tackle in football and would be the piece that the Miami Dolphins have been looking for to protect Tua Tagovailoa’s blindside.

Though this was Greg Little’s first game playing left tackle, he has allowed 10 pressures in 2 games as the right tackle for Miami.

Those numbers aren’t inspiring at all, and create a real lack of time for any quarterback in this offense. When Tua Tagovailoa has had time this season, he has been a top-10 quarterback.

Let’s see what we can do, and buy off a big seller right now.
