The Miami Dolphins need to address cornerback and there is no reason to wait beyond round three.

. CB. Tar Heels . Storm Duck. 3. player. 838

Is there a better name for a Miami Dolphins cornerback? If we are going off name alone, Storm is as Miami as Drew “Brees” should have been. The good news is that Duck can also play football but the question is whether or not he will drop into round three. It’s early so maybe he will.

Duck would get some time behind Byron Jones or Xavien Howard and that will give him more experience. He will need to develop a little bit but he has a high ceiling. Athletic and more than capable of playing on the boundary, Duck comes in at just over 6′.

Duck played well his junior year making six four starts for the North Carolina Tar Heels and now, the senior is getting his work in.

Miami can’t rely on Byron Jones and as we are seeing now, depth at cornerback is a big priority. The Dolphins have been hit hard by injury through six weeks and the secondary is void of depth. Adding secondary help next season makes a lot of sense.
