Miami Dolphins run game reborn:

There are easy layups and then there is this layup, the Miami Dolphins run game is going to ignite Detroit on fire this Sunday. There is literally no other choice.

Why?

The Detroit Lions currently rank 31st in the NFL for rushing defense this year, giving up a whooping 162.8 YPG rushing. But it gets even better, in the last 3 games the Detroit Lions have given up an average of 183.3 YPG!

RBs going up against the Lions are averaging 5.3 YPC. Dolphins RB  Raheem Mostert is already averaging 4.5 YPC for the year, can you imagine what he will be able to do vs Detroit?

Should average no less than a first down.

But seriously, if there is one game where the Dolphins running game HAS to come to life, it’s this week 8 matchup vs the Lions. Because if Miami struggles to run the rock vs a team like this, then they can become one-dimensional very quickly in the playoffs.

And I mention the playoffs because flaws like this can burn you in the regular season, but the next game is a bounce back. Once January comes around a small flaw can be exposed into something glaring.
