The Miami Dolphins fill needs in Week 8 Mock Draft

Miami Dolphins clean up their offensive line with help from Northwestern’s Peter Skoronski
The Miami Dolphins offensive line has been the center of attention, not only this off-season but coming into the game with the return of Tagovailoa. They did a great job of keeping him clean and limiting penalties, but the game may have gone differently had TJ Watt played.
To be fair, the Dolphins’ 2022 offensive line is better so far than any offensive line throughout Tagovailoa’s professional career. The additions of Terron Armstead and Connor Williams with the combination of an improved Robert Hunt have given the Dolphins and Tagovailoa a chance.
However, the Dolphins need to once again upgrade the offensive line, replacing Liam Eichenberg at left guard seems like a start. It’s tough to project what Austin Jackson will do once healthy, but this pick is based on what we’ve seen so far – nothing.
Peter Skornoski isn’t Rashawn Slater. He’s not as good an athlete, but should still be a talented enough prospect to justify being the first offensive lineman drafted and protecting Tagovailoa’s blindside.
The Dolphins can use this pick to address the correct tackle to then head into free agency to address the left guard. Regardless of how they do it, expect the Dolphins to address the position.
