Miami Dolphins: Predictions for the final 9 games

January 1st @ Patriots
Win 38-28 (10-6)

The Dolphins have been dominant against the Patriots with Tua Tagovailoa under center, as the quarterback has started his career 4-0 against Bill Belichick. Miami took the first meeting of the season in Week 1, but both teams will likely look drastically different after nearly a full season of injuries and/or development. But the results won’t change.

Hopefully, this will be the game that clinches a playoff spot for the Dolphins, and it would be nice to see them do so in dominant fashion. It will be their second-highest point total of the season, and Miami will ring in the New Year with a win up in New England.

January 8th vs. Jets
Win 27-21 (11-6)

We didn’t think that this game would hold much weight when the schedule was released, at least for New York. But the Jets have been one of the early season surprises, and have already defeated the Dolphins once this season. The second match up will take place in Miami and will be the final game of the season, and it is likely that at least one, if not both, of these teams will be battling for a playoff spot.

The Jets are talented, but the Dolphins, when healthy, should have enough firepower to overcome. Miami by 6 to end the regular season.
