Miami Dolphins players who could potentially make the Pro Bowl
By Brian Miller
Miami Dolphins Jaylen Waddle is making a strong case for his first Pro Bowl roster in 2022.
Waddle is no less deserving than Hill and he should be the third WR on the AFC roster behind Hill and Stephon Diggs but the gap between Waddle and Diggs is pretty small as well. Diggs currently has 60 receptions for 857 yards and 7 touchdowns. Waddle has 47 receptions for 812 yards and six touchdowns.
The next closest receiver in the AFC would be Davante Adams who has 658 receptions and 7 touchdowns.
Waddle is having a phenomenal year and there is no reason to think he won’t be on the PB roster after the 2022 season. He is playing like a Pro Bowler. In fact, if he is left off the roster, then it will prove that this is nothing more than a popularity contest…but then again, when opposing teams are taking your “waddle waddle” TD celebration and using it, you’re pretty popular.
Miami Dolphins Xavien Howard is not likely to make the Pro Bowl this year.
Xavien Howard has pretty much been Miami’s best on defense but his groin injury forced him to miss time and while he came back a little early, he wasn’t playing at the same level. He is still one of the best but voters tend to look at statistics, specifically interceptions and so far this year, Howard has none on the season.
This could all change with a strong run over the next two months. Howard needs to get some picks in his corner but for now, he is going to probably be overlooked which is a shame because he is still having a very good year and the fact you don’t hear his name is proof of that.
