Miami Dolphins players who could potentially make the Pro Bowl

Jevon Holland is a long shot to make the Pro Bowl no matter how we look at it but it isn’t because his Miami Dolphins stats are bad.

Holland is borderline elite and the only thing holding him back is league-wide recognition. It isn’t easy for safeties to get the props unless they are ball-hawking safeties who pile on interceptions and sacks. For Holland, it’s a balance of every aspect of the game.

Holland is good in coverage, good at rushing the passer when he is called upon, and an excellent hard-hitting tackler but he isn’t quite there yet.

Few doubt that Holland will eventually make the Pro Bowl and even some outside of the local media believe that he could be one of the best safeties in the NFL but there is growth that needs to take place soon and being on a defense that has played inconsistent at time won’t help.

Miami’s offense has gotten a lot of attention and when voters look at the box scores and see the points the defense is giving up, they will shy away from casting a vote for one of the Dolphins’ best secondary members…for now.

Terron Armstead could be a member as well if he can stay healthy.

Terron Armstead’s biggest challenge for making this year’s AFC Pro Bowl roster is his health. When he is healthy, he is one of the league’s best left tackles and it clearly shows on game days when he is on the field and how much he is missed when he isn’t.
