It’s that time of year again: The NFL Mid-Season of No Return Awards
By Matt Serniak
This NFL award goes to the person who is most likely to be thrown off the team by his own teammates.- Kyler Murray
Seems that every week Kyler Murray finds himself arguing with someone on the team. Whether it’s his head coach or his star receiver, Kyler Murray will get into it with him regardless if it’s his fault or not.
Now, this kind of thing happens all the time but when you’re Kyler Murray and you signed a $230M contract but management wanted to have stipulations in your contract that were going to force you to study more and play less video games and your team is playing badly, well every time you walk to the sideline the cameras are going to be in your face waiting to hear the stuff you have to say everyone else.
Kyler isn’t going anywhere though I bet many in Arizona would love to see him gone. But, Kliff Kingsbury will be a causality in all of this when the season is over.
I imagine when the day comes and Kyler is gone that he will have a very Russell Wilson-like sendoff from his current and past teammates where they all go on podcasts and spill about just not great it was being around Kyler. I could be wrong but I’m probably not.
So congrats to Kyler Murray for winning the Douglas C. Neidermeyer award and always bless the deltas.
Cut to 3:05 for why this is the Neidermeyer award and make sure you watch Animal House before you leave this world.
