3 reasons why the Miami Dolphins will win on Sunday

3. Home, sweet home

The Dolphins haven’t been away for all that long, but their last home game was the Sunday Night contest against the Steelers which marked Tua Tagovailoa’s return to action on October 23rd.

Three weeks later, the team will return to Hard Rock Stadium, and they’d better make themselves comfortable. They returned from Chicago this past Sunday Night, and won’t leave the city again (as a team) until roughly November 25th. They’ll have this Sunday’s game against the Browns which will be followed with the team’s bye week, and then a home date with the Houston Texans on the back end. (After that will come the road trip from hell, but we’ll touch on that a different time)

The weather-related advantage that the Dolphins have enjoyed on their home field won’t be as much of a factor as the season wears on. The November heat in South Florida is still muggy, but nothing compared to the sweltering conditions that the team played in against the Patriots and Bills. But the fans will be comfortable, and certainly at full throat after not seeing their team in person for three weeks.

The Dolphins are 3-1 at home, the lone loss coming in Week 6 against the Vikings.
