The Miami Dolphins finally have a formidable rushing attack.

You’ve probably knew this, heard this, and read about this a bunch since Sunday. The thing is, it’s very true. The Miami Dolphins have a rushing attack that can make their already extremely potent offense even better.

On Sunday, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle didn’t have their typical stat-crushing day that we’ve grown accustomed to. Naw instead, it was Jeff Wilson Jr. and Raheem Mostert being the catalyst for the offense. Yes, Tua was once again on fire and the true guy behind the wheel. But, Wilson Jr. and Mostert kept everything steady and controlled the game.

Obviously, you have to tip your cap to the offensive line and the improvements they’ve made. Quick sidebar- Robert Jones and Brandon Shell aren’t going anywhere. They’re a part of the starting offensive line and they can play. They aren’t just replacement guys. They’re legit NFL starters.

The yards and the touchdowns from Wilson Jr. and Mostert are awesome but the stat that sticks out the most to me was that Mostert averaged 8.1 yards a carry on eight carries and Wilson Jr. averaged 7 yards a carry. The offensive line was getting surges that are normally associated with tsunamis but Wilson Jr.’s and Mostert’s fancy footwork did the rest.

I’m not going to get into how a good running game that needs to be respected opens up the passing game but it does and it’s going to be so much fun watching guys get even more open.
