4.) Resign Melvin Ingram to a 2-year deal.

This move is more of a heart pick because while I do believe Melvin Ingram provides a ridiculous amount of help for this Miami Dolphins front-7, I also love the idea of him fostering Bradley Chubb and Jaelan Phillips.

I know that Bradley Chubb is already near the top of his game, but allowing him to stay fresh, and picking up a few extra technique helpers from one of the best edge rushers of this past decade couldn’t hurt right?

Melvin Ingram also can still play at an elite level. He has been playing very well whenever he comes in, and the Miami Dolphins and Josh Boyer specifically have done a very good job at getting Ingram, Phillips, and Chubb on the field at the same time.

That group is very good at creating pressure but also using stunts and playing off one another to make the quarterback’s day a nightmare. Those 3 together, plus Christian Wilkins or Zach Sieler have been a dangerous combo for opposing offensive lines.

Another part of Melvin Ingram’s game that has been extremely slept on, is his ability to spy on the quarterback. When he is not in a pass rush, or dropping out to cover a tight end or running back, he is very valuable in the spy game.

Something very valuable in a division that includes Josh Allen. Melvin Ingram is getting older and older as the days go by, and I don’t think his price tag is as high as many expect.
