The Miami Dolphins and their offensive line would be lost without Terron Armstead gutting it out every week.

I realize there are plenty of players in the NFL that are playing through injuries. But this is an article about the Miami Dolphins so forgive me if I’m going to be focusing on a player that has been dealing with a very painful toe injury and playing nearly every week.

Terron Armstead is everything that he was advertised to be, in every way. He has anchored the Miami Dolphin’s offensive line and has helped transform the once disgusting and unsightly offensive line into a unit that is getting better and better.

Remember all the way back to last year when the Miami Dolphins employed three of the worst offensive lineman and all three of those guys were starters? Yeah, that’s just a distant memory at this point because of the addition of Armstead and a few others.

Myles Garret, that guy is pretty good. Do you recall hearing his name mentioned once the last time the Dolphins played football? No, you don’t because he couldn’t get past Armstead.

Oh and that often-maligned running game? It’s getting better with the addition of Jeff Wilson Jr.

Terron Armstead has missed only one game even though he is a permanent member of the weekly injury report. I know we’re always a bit uneasy about if he’s going to play or not. But I would bet on Armstead playing through the toe injury every week from here on out. Armstead is built different and it shows every week.
