3 things we learned in the Miami Dolphins weird feeling win over Texans
By Matt Serniak
We all have eyes and we saw what the Miami Dolphins look like without Terron Armstead and it’s not pretty.
It’s the #1 story with the Miami Dolphins right now and yes I’m aware that I already talked about it already on the opening slide.
We saw what the Miami Dolphins looked like when Terron Armstead went down. Brandon Shell who has been doing well at right tackle got moved to left tackle and Austin Jackson found his way back to right tackle. It didn’t work out well mainly because Austin Jackson simply is not very good.
Jackson got beaten often. Shell also got beaten often and Tua started getting sacked and hit at an alarming rate. Not sure if you’re aware of this but Tua can’t absorb hits like he did yesterday for very long. He won’t last the rest of the season if this keeps up.
I don’t know what the move is to put the best five linemen on the field against the San Francisco 49ers and the crew they have. Nick Bosa and the gang are going to be like sharks in the water and they’re going to smell blood. Does Larnel Coleman get inserted in there or does Robert Jones and Greg Little get moved around to fill the left guard spot and tackle spot? I just don’t know.
The thing is, Austin Jackson also left the game with an ankle injury. I mean that might be addition by subtraction but with the 49ers and their bloodthirsty defense being who Miami will see next, it seems like it’s an all-hands-on-deck type of situation.
