The Miami Dolphins lost to the Jets earlier this year. The Jets coach was the former defensive coordinator with San Francisco and runs a similar defense. Learn from that tape.

I understand it may be a bit simplistic to think that Robert Saleh and the Jets run the same exact thing that he ran in San Francisco just like it’s silly to think that Mike McDaniel run the exact same offense he had when also was in San Francisco. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle were not on those teams and this team doesn’t have George Kittle.

But you’re fooling yourself if you think both Saleh and McDaniel don’t run similar concepts that they ran on former teams. They 100% do.

So go back and really watch that Jets tape. See how they position their linebackers because knowing where Fred Warner is is paramount. Check out where the corners are positioned. I don’t know, there has to be something in there you can learn from.

Ultimately, much of the offensive approach will be McDaniel watching the 49ers tape and seeing what they’ve done lately. I’m just saying you already played a team that plays similarly to the team you’re playing this week so it can’t hurt.
