The Miami Dolphins will not draft until round two barring an unexpected trade, or they may trade the selection before the draft.

Running back will be a popular social media pick here as it tends to be but remember, the Dolphins traded a 5th-round pick to the 49ers for Jeff Wilson and that wasn’t to rent him for a year. Miami, I would almost 100% bet, will give him a new contract. The Dolphins still need RB help but as we said, I would expect more discussion here in the 6th and 7th rounds or free agency.

With their first pick in round two of the 2023 draft, the Miami Dolphins select, O’Cyrus Torrence – Florida.

Miami’s offensive line looks like this currently.

  • Austin Jackson or Brandon Shell
  • Robert Hunt
  • Conner Williams
  • Robert Jones
  • Terron Armstead

Shell will be a free agent and the Dolphins have Liam Eichenberg still hoping to be developed. Jones is working out but the Dolphins need to get better in the interior and this is where Torrence comes in.

Torrence is a big interior guard that can pull and he is able to move defenders at the point of contact. Torrence would help the Dolphins running game without hurting the passing game. He would be a perfect addition to play next to Armstead.

Torrence has seen his name mentioned everywhere from late round one to late round two and if he is gone by the time Miami selects, keep an eye on an offensive tackle, Darnell Wright of Tennessee. Miami needs to consider having a viable right tackle option if Jackson doesn’t improve.
