Final games in a Miami Dolphins uniform for these 3 players?

2. Andrew Van Ginkel (or any one of many linebackers)

At one point during training camp, Jerome Baker and Channing Tindall were the only true linebackers that were under contract after the 2022 season. They have since added Bradley Chubb and Melvin Ingram to the mix, though both are more edge rushers, and Ingram on just a one-year deal.

So when it comes to the linebackers, there is an entire handful of players who could be in their final weeks as members of the Miami Dolphins. The trio of Elandon Roberts, Duke Riley, and Andrew Van Ginkel have been in steady rotation throughout the season, but all are playing on expiring deals. The front office could elect to bring one or two of them back, but the future direction of the linebacker unit will depend heavily on their open market asking price.

There will be a good amount of money already wrapped up in the unit before Miami even begins their off-season. Baker is on the books for $12.5 million in 2023, and Chubb has a whopping $22 million tag. Luckily for the Dolphins, Jaelan Phillips is still on his affordable rookie contract, potentially giving them some wiggle room to spend on linebackers in free agency.
