Here’s some offensive ideas I’d love to see the Miami Dolphins start doing

I really think the Miami Dolphins would have more big plays on offense if Tua pump faked just a little bit.

I’ve noticed it all year but I really focused on it last night when I was watching the replay of the Dolphins Bills game, which was again heartbreaking, but Tua could create what I think would be a ton of big plays if he pump faked the defense allowing Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle to get past defenders with seemingly nobody there.

I know it sounds like an idea you’d get from Madden or something that backyard football QBs, like myself, would do thinking it actually mattered. But, the way defenses are guarding Hill and Waddle on some plays, man alive, would a pump fake cause the cornerback to break hard on an out route perhaps only for Hill or Waddle to take the route up field.

Let’s face it, defenders are dying pick off Tua’s passes. It’s amazing he doesn’t have more INTs. Defenders are blasting into each other, at times, trying to catch one of Tua’s floaters. It is what it is. They aren’t catching them so I choose to focus on that.

In the Buffalo game, defenders are driving hard on the Tyreek Hill out route. They knew it was coming thus it was never completed. How about leaning into that, pump fake them, and have Hill run an out and up? If it it’s still covered, throw it out of bounds or something. I think it’s worth trying to see if you can get a wide-open Hill or Waddle.

I’m not saying he has to do it every play like Ben Roethlisberger did, but once in a while, I think, would be work.
