Here’s some offensive ideas I’d love to see the Miami Dolphins start doing

At the very least, I doubt EZE would hurt the Miami Dolphins more than others have in the same position.

I’m pretty sure all of us after we let out a big “oh what the hell” after Braylon Sanders drew offensive pass interference on a deep ball that he probably should have just kept running on, said to ourselves “why in the world isn’t Erik Ezukanma given a chance there?”

This is one of the areas we the fans have no earthly idea what Mike McDaniel knows. We saw Ezukanma do very well in the preseason but McDaniel and Wes Welker have seen him in every practice he’s ever had as a pro. That matters more. If they think he can’t handle it, then we have no choice but to go along with it.

Also, the special teams factor also goes in Braylon Sanders favor, evidentially.

With all that being said, and River Cracraft still being injured, I would like to see Erik Ezukanma out there instead of Braylon Sanders.

My main point is that he can’t do worse than Sanders. Is he a major liability on special teams? Perhaps, though I haven’t seen Sanders do anything that stuck on kicks and punts but maybe that’s a good thing?

Bottom line, I trust Easy-E a ton more than Sanders. I realize it was against preseason, lower lever competition but Ezukanma stood out making catch after catch. And they weren’t simple screens and slants. He made catches in traffic. Not sure about you, but if you get hit by a guy while trying to make a catch it doesn’t matter if that guy is an all-pro or a practice squad guy. It’s still difficult.

If he doesn’t know the playbook, can’t you just tell him what he has to do for the probably, 8 snaps he’ll actually be on offense? Is that a bad way to go about business? Maybe.

I understand that this is basically a red shirt year for him, but if he can help now, he has to suit up.
