Miami Dolphins could take away from the Buffalo Bills if they go after Eric Washington.

Washington is turning heads and teams are seeing what he is doing in Buffalo. A former defensive line coach for the Bills, Washington is the Senior Defensive Assistant and Defensive Line coach for the team. The Bills have a pretty good defensive front.

Previously, Washington has served as a DC for the Panthers from 2018 to 2019. He would follow Sean McDermott to the Bills after the 2019 season.

Washington has a nice resume and has worked with some really good DCs including McDermott and Leslie Frazier. Hiring Washington would bring a new mentality to the Dolphins defense. The Bills players are coached to be physical at the point of attack and that is something Miami is lacking.

The question is whether or not Washington is ready for the jump. Many believe he is and if he did Join the Dolphins he would have a pretty good base roster on that side of the ball but his inexperience may be something that Mike McDaniel would just as soon avoid for now and that makes Washington a long-shot.
