Green Bay Packers writer Paul Bretl sat down with us to talk about the matchup vs the Miami Dolphins on Christmas Day, and what to expect from the Pack.

The Miami Dolphins and the Green Bay Packers will clash in a week 16 matchup that is crucial on both sides, the Dolphins are trying to get back on track after spiraling out of control for 3 straight losses, while the Packers are trying to build on a 2 game win streak for their playoff push.

Dolphins fans have heard us talk about Miami all season, in a sense we all have a feel for what to expect from the fins. But what do we know about the Green Bay Packers? What should Dolphins fans expect?

Dolphins writer Juan Vasquez sits down with Packers writer Paul Bretl from The Packers Wire for the breakdown:

Miami Dolphins vs Green Bay Packers, what to expect:

Vasquez: The Packers have rallied with a few wins the past 2 weeks, how has that changed expectations in the fanbase for a possible playoff run?

"Bretl: I think the realization that the Packers can make the playoffs has much of the fan base excited. The Packers, of course, have to win out, and the help that they need to receive isn’t terribly far-fetched either. In addition to three wins of their own, the Packers need one more Seattle loss, and either the Giants to finish 0-3 or Washington to end the year 1-2. Another Lions loss, in addition to losing to Green Bay in Week 18, would be helpful as well, due to potential tiebreaker scenarios. With that said, I’m guessing that many also recognize that this year’s team has quite a bit of flaws, so even though there is a path to the playoffs, I’m not sure many have the same Super Bowl aspirations that usually surround Green Bay this time of the year."
