Teddy Bridgewater, obviously, can be helped out by a running game we know exists.

We’ve seen this team run the ball the last few weeks. We’ve seen them do it very well at times. Then for whatever reason, Mike McDaniel got away from it. I don’t know if McDaniel thinks that the running game working well early in the game means that passing the ball will be even easier later in the game or that he just can’t help himself with trying to get the ball to Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

I do know that Teddy Bridgewater isn’t a world-beater so this means he needs help from everyone. Run the ball more and have Teddy take his shots when it’s advantageous for him to do so. We call that a balanced offense.

Teddy going out there and throwing 40 times is not a recipe for success. Let Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson Jr. do their thing.

The offensive line has gotten better at run blocking, as we’ve seen, so let them get downhill on a Patriots team that is looking to give up and get out of this season.
