3 sneaky keys to try and get the Miami Dolphins back to winning vs Patriots
By Matt Serniak
It would behoove the Miami Dolphins to get a lead early forcing Mac Jones to have to beat them.
What a crazy out-of-this-world sneaky key this is am I right? Score points early. Fascinating. But really, as a defense, we would like to see Rhamondre Stevenson neutralized due to the Patriots having to throw the ball. We know the Patriots are at their best when they can muddy the game up by running the ball giving Mac Jones the least amount of responsibility as possible.
The best way to do that is to go up early turning the game into a shootout or at least a game where the Patriots think the only way they can keep up is to throw the ball. Let the Dolphins pass rush, whatever version it looks like, run down the very immobile Mac Jones.
So those first 15 scripted plays that I’m told every coach has, make them good ones for Teddy. Don’t hold anything back. Mike McDaniel likes to go deep. Go deep. And since Teddy can hit some spots on the field a bit better than Tua, such as outside the numbers, make sure you go installing those plays as well. The playbook could open up a bit more since Teddy has a stronger arm.
Also, getting the scoreboard with 7 or more points on it in the 1st quarter would make everyone feel a little better. I want to feel better.
