The Miami Dolphins would be wise to have over-the-top help on Garrett Wilson.

The only receiver I fear on the New York Jets, besides the open ones, is Garrett Wilson. That guy is a real-deal player who is hungry to keep showing that it doesn’t matter who his quarterback is, that he will still produce. He has over 1,000 yards on 74 catches with a bunch of awful guys throwing him the ball.

Getting Xavien Howard back is important. The secondary is in shambles so getting a Pro Bowler like Howard(yes, I realize the irony) is extremely helpful.

But I think Boyer has to have over-the-top help on Wilson. No, I don’t mean I think Xavien Howard, Jevon Holland, or anyone else should arm wrestle Wilson while their 13-year-old son drives cross-country to see them, I just think having safety help on Wilson all game is the way to go. If this means putting Xavien Howard out on an island who is opposite of Wilson whether it be Corey Davis or Elijah Moore, so be it.

If the Dolphins elect to run more zone, that’s fine. Still, the point remains. Know where Garrett Wilson and don’t often let him run with only one guy keying on him. Everyone needs to know where he is especially because Flacco likes to go deep.
