The Miami Dolphins will rely on 7th round draft pick Skylar Thompson this week against the Jets.

I am a musician. At times , a note just doesn’t fit. You can transpose, you can shift a chord but sometimes there is always something out of place. Other times that quirky tone makes a beautiful jazzy masterpiece that hasn’t yet been discovered. What are the Dolphins right now?

We are Tua seconds away from no chance at the post season and Teddy didn’t make any bridges over troubled waters so the ball is to be pitched to Skylar Thompson in a game that is for all the marbles…He is probably too young to ever have played with marbles. So, what do we have to look forward to?

Joe flacco is starting… He has only played in 4 games this year and started three of those while being sacked ten times with just over a 58% completion rate. The 37 year old will be going against Skylar Thompson who is a 25 year old rookie that actually made his debut against the Jets back in week 5. Skylar has a completion rating of 57.9% so this may be a game that falls on the team not on the QB.

No reason to fear Flacco , but not a whole lot to get excited about unless Thompson gets that preseason spark back to save the Phins in the final regular season game of his rookie campaign. It is not all on him, just like it was not all on Tua. If Armstead plays throughout the game and McDaniel gets over his cranial rectal syndrome so he can coach like the genius we all believe im to be….we may have a chance

Can Sky do it? Mike McDaniel stated , “I’m excited for him to get his deserved opportunity and hope he can set a 2022 season Miami Dolphins backup quarterback record of starting and finishing a game.”
