RUNNING BACKS

Raheem Mostert
Jeff Wilson Jr.
Salvon Ahmed
Myles Gaskin

Talk about an overhaul. The entire running back room for the Dolphins will be eligible to hit the open market during the off-season, and the position could look far different in 2023.

The rushing attack was headed by Raheem Mostert and complimented by Jeff Wilson Jr., both of whom deserve solid pay days as they hit free agency. Salvon Ahmed and Myles Gaskin have both been a part of the team for some time, but their contracts are expiring, too. Miami will likely bring at least one of the four back for familiarity and scheme reasons.

WIDE RECIEVERS

Trent Sherfield
River Cracraft

The Dolphins were certainly a two-receiver attack in 2022 with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle putting up big numbers, but Trent Sherfield and River Cracraft were able to make their marks as well, albeit with different opportunities. Sherfield solidified himself as the team’s WR3 early on in the season and finished the year with 30 catches for 417 yards and two touchdowns, all career highs.

Cracraft only saw 14 total targets, many of them coming before Week 13. There was a point after Week 3 in which he had two catches and two touchdowns. He finished the year with 102 receiving yards.
