The front office of the Miami Dolphins will have some work to do if they want to lower the price tags on some of their highest-paid players for 2023.

The 2022-2023 season has concluded for the Miami Dolphins, and it is time to start looking forward to the upcoming off-season and what the team will do transaction-wise. There are loads of talent up and down the entire roster, and with that comes some gaudy contracts.

There are some seriously high price tags for certain players on the Dolphins roster for the 2023 season, including five guys that are owed more than $17 million each. If Miami hopes to make the improvements that are necessary in order to be competitive next year, they’ll have some restructuring to do, not only with the contracts but potentially with the roster itself.

These numbers are certainly subject to change through restructures and transactions, but as of today, here are the ten most expensive contracts on the payroll for the Miami Dolphins for 2023:

10. Connor Williams – $8,375,000

His contract was only for two years, and the Dolphins will likely enter 2023 knowing that it will be their final season with Connor Williams. The former Cowboys’ lineman was brought in alongside Armstead to try and bolster the offensive front, and he was forced to play out of position at center for the entirety of 2022. But aside from a few high snaps, Williams held down the position and was seen as a positive addition to the roster when all was said and done. The team could save nearly $5 million by moving on this summer, but his production will likely be worth the price tag.
