The Miami Dolphins had loads of talent in 2022. Which guys performed well enough to be in the team’s ten best players?

When looking up and down the 2022 roster for the Miami Dolphins, it is hard to believe that they didn’t achieve more than simply a Wild Card berth. There were loads of talent on both sides of the ball, and had the players been able to remain healthy, the season could have wound up being far more successful than the limp to a 9-8 record.

But, injuries happen. And despite them, the Dolphins were able to go into Buffalo with a depleted roster and nearly knock off one of the Super Bowl favorites behind their 3rd string QB and a defense that finally showed up by making the big plays. Had the team been fully healthy, you’d likely be looking at a different result and perhaps the first playoff win for Miami in over two decades.

Coulda, woulda, shoulda.

Here are the ten players on the Miami Dolphins roster who had the best performances of the 2022 season:

10. Connor Williams

He was one of the unsung heroes of the 2022 season, despite playing a position that he never had previously in the NFL. Some of his snaps were high and a couple of them resulted in QBs scrambling to jump on top of the ball, but Connor Williams held down the middle of Miami’s offensive line. He was the only player on the team to play in 100% of snaps, not missing a down all year on a unit that had a new look nearly every week. Williams will be entering the final season of the 2-year deal he signed in 2022.
