Top 10 Miami Dolphins players from 2022 season

9. Elandon Roberts

He has his shortcomings in the passing game and may not even be on the roster in 2023, but Elandon Roberts deserves praise for what he was able to accomplish statistically in 2022. He led the team in tackles with 107 total, racked up the third most sacks (4.5), and the second-most tackles for loss behind Christian Wilkins. Not only that, but he is a run-stopping thumper, and I personally believe that the Dolphins should re-sign him this off-season.

8. Kader Kohou

The biggest surprise of the year was undoubtedly Kader Kohou. He was thought of as a not much more than a depth piece when training camp began, but he turned into the team’s CB2 and started every game beginning in Week 3. His presence was a necessity, born from the injuries to Byron Jones and Nik Needham, but he played above and beyond his billing as a 7th-round rookie. There will be plenty of work done on the secondary by the front office this off-season, but they’ll be happy to have Kohou around for the foreseeable future.

7. Raheem Mostert

Miami’s rushing attack was slow to get off of the ground, but things began improving about a third of the way through the season, thanks in large part to Raheem Mostert. The speedy running back averaged just a shade under 5 yards per carry, tied for 7th in the league among running backs. While he did miss the most important game of the season with a broken thumb, he was far more durable than most gave him credit for before the year, playing in 16 of 17 regular season contests.
