3 middle linebackers I’d love the Miami Dolphins to do their homework on

If the Miami Dolphins are looking to spend real-deal money on an MLB, LaVonte David is the guy I’d go with.

LaVonte David is 32 years old. That’s not exactly the age of a guy that you’re looking to give big money too. But David is awesome at what he does and he would be the perfect type of player to bring in to mix with the Dolphin’s combination of young guys and veteran guys.

Last year David had 123 combined tackles and three sacks. Not bad. But where I love David is his leadership and big game experience. A few years ago, David wona Super Bowl and was the backbone of a fierce defense in Tampa Bay.

The Bucs seem to be in a bit of a transition from moving on from Tom Brady. You get the feeling that management in Tampa Bay might be hitting the reset button on the franchise. Older players like David, who will command decent money outin free agency, seems like a player that you don’t keep around if you’re rebuilding.

Personally, I don’t think the Miami Dolphins and Grier will spend the money it will take to bring in a LaVonte David. It be fun, but I think they will allocate those funds elsewhere. But as I said, if they decide that they want to bolster the MLB positon the best way, signing LaVonte David is the move to make.
