The Miami Dolphins next big need is at the cornerback position but that will be more dependent on what the Dolphins do with Byron Jones.

Xavien Howard will be back in 2023 and so will last year’s impressive young but injured corners. The Dolphins will get Trill Williams and Nik Needham back (if they re-sign him) and still have Kader Kohou and others but Miami lacked a top corner opposite Howard and this year they will need to figure out what the plan is.

Corner could be the biggest need, and will be if Jones is released.

James Bradberry

Bradberry, 29 years of age, is looking to make one big contract before he turns the 30-year-old corner, no pun intended. Last year he was incredible in a defensive scheme for the Eagles that featured the top secondary in the league.

Make no mistake, Bradberry will be expensive and will likely top the $45 million FA contract he signed three years ago – according to FOX sports.

Patrick Peterson

Peterson is 32 but still is playing well. He could be a bridge CB until a rookie is ready to take over or one of the younger players develops enough to handle it.
