The Miami Dolphins could move Tua Tagovailoa to the Raiders and if a deal for Aaron Rodgers falls through, the Raiders are going to be a hot spot for QB trade talk.

Las Vegas released Derek Carr and Josh McDaniels has to find his quarterback. A rookie is not likely going to save his job in two years and if Rodgers doesn’t end up in Vegas as many project, Tua could be a much cheaper option that would give McDaniels a chance.

Las Vegas has one first round draft pick and they won’t move that to Miami for Tua but they could package a couple of 2nd round draft picks to the Dolphins or a player and draft picks.

This would make a lot of sense for everyone involved. Tua would be closer to the west coast and his family and he would inherit a talented offense that he could slide into and take over with little adjustments.

The Raiders are a big team to watch this off-season. At 7 overall they are not out of position to draft a quarterback but considering that Houston, Carolina, Indianapolis, and Atlanta are all looking to draft a QB and could jump in front of them, the Raiders may find it easier to just trade for Tua.
