Both Atlanta and Carolina would also make sense for the Miami Dolphins in terms of trading Tua Tagovailoa.

Would Atlanta or Carolina step up for Tua? Of the two I think that Atlanta could be a better fit and an easier transition. The Panthers desperately need to find a quarterback and their last two trades have not worked out so would they want to mortgage their future on another trade?

Atlanta could make a move for a quarterback. They are not a team that is a big draw for the QBs in the league. There is almost no talk about the Falcons trying to land Rodgers or Jackson or for that matter Carr right now. Tua would give them a young QB who should have a lot of seasons left in his body.

Compensation would fall somewhere in the same range as the others who have higher draft picks in round one. Tua would be a multiple pick compensation package and those teams would have two years minimum at a reasonable cost.

The truth of it all as it comes with Tua Tagovailoa is that the Miami Dolphins are not going to trade him.

Whether you are one of those who want him to be traded or one who thinks they would be stupid to even discuss it, the Dolphins are likely going to keep him and are simply checking pricetags.

The reality is for all the reasons mentioned in the previous slides, the Dolphins have Tua for two years as well and unless there is simply something about him they are not keen on, there is no need to worry about him being moved. Still, it makes for fun, if not overdone water cooler chatter.
