The Miami Dolphins have to weigh what is available to them and what is not. They could be tempted to trade up but don’t have the ammunition.

Campbell has raised a lot of eyebrows this week with his work at the NFL Combine but it is his play on the field that has him on the Dolphins radar.

In this mock draft, we used the ProFootballFocus similar and I was very tempted to take Andre Carter, II, an edge rusher out of Army. I like the skill set that Carter brings and initially I had him here for Miami but I don’t see Vic Fangio needing an edge rusher in this defense as much as he needs a linebacker.

Campbell is a very good prospect and is a player that could thrive under Fangio’s coaching. He is described by some as a hard-working middle-class type linebacker who plays the game with more than just athleticism but also football IQ.

In Miami’s defense, Campbell could be exceptional. The Dick Butkus Award winner in 2022, Campbell is exactly what the Dolphins need in a linebacker and if he falls to Miami, something that may not happen after his Combine performance, they should jump at the chance.
