2. Sign Hunter Renfrow

The addition of Odell Beckham, Jr. helps the Dolphins offense. He will open other areas of the field for Tagovailoa to throw to, but if the Dolphins want to take it up another notch, Hunter Renfrow could be a guy that takes the offense to a more complete level.

Renfrow was a fantastic contributing slot receiver for the Raiders, who suffered from inconsistent quarterback play in the last couple of years. He doesn't have great speed, but he has better-than-average vision, understands the defenses, can get open and create space, and would give the Dolphins a go-to player on 3rd down.

Miami will only carry, at most, six players on the WR unit. Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and OBJ take up three of those spots. The remaining three will be a competition between Braxton Berrios, River Cracraft, Erik Ezukanma, and the two young Washington rookies. For my money, Renfrow is a better option than most of them. One rookie will make the roster, likely Mailk Washington, with Tahj heading to the practice squad. I would take Renfrow over Ezukanma, and as much as I like Cracraft, I think Renfrow opens the offense more and is more reliable.
