Live Game Day Chat

Today’s chat will begin at 12:45 but first some important information regarding the use of this chat feature.
PLEASE READ BEFORE PROCEEDING TO TODAYS LIVE GAME CHAT
If you are joining this chat today please realize that every time you leave the chat room you create lag when you come back in. The reason is because you are given permissions to chat freely without moderation and each time you join the room, those permissions are not carried over and have to be re-instated. In order for me to re-instate you, I must delete the permission from your previous entry and then reassign them again to your screenname.
When the above occurs over and over again with multiple users doing the same thing, the system plays a short commercial when you join the chat room. This commercial also bogs down the server for that article which contributes to the drag of the chat room. If at all possible, please join the room and stay in the room using other tabs or open pages to navigate elsewhere. This will cut down on the number of viewers and commenters joining multiple times.
In addition, this chat room allows me to add readers to an unmoderated list up to a maximum of 25. I can also add 25 panelists and if need be 25 producers. That is a total of 75 members in the room at one time maximum. The old chat room only allowed for 25 participants maximum, including myself as the host.
Please note that when you join your screen name is assigned to one of those first 25 slots. Each time you leave the chat room does not remove you so when you come back in you take up a second slot and so forth.
There has been issues with moderation of comment. ALL initial comments by a reader is moderated. After that initial moderation, you are assigned a slot for no future moderation unless you leave. As the host of this chat, it is my duty to approve you for non-moderation. Considering that I too am watching the game/s I will sometimes miss a few, be patient and you will be assigned.
Again, the most important part of this is to NOT leave the chat room if you do not have to. Stopping and restarting creates the lag and drags down the server.
