We are midway through the 2015 season and while it’s early, way early to look at the NFL Draft in April, that is what we are going to do with our first 2016 NFL mock draft.  There are so many unknowns right now, in terms of which coaches will be back with their team, or better yet, which new coaches will come in.  Either way, here we go, first round drama.

The order of this mock draft is based off the NFL standings as of November 10th.

Oct 17, 2015; Waco, TX, USA; Baylor Bears linebacker Grant Campbell (5) and defensive end Shawn Oakman (2) and defensive tackle Andrew Billings (75) during the game against the West Virginia Mountaineers at McLane Stadium. Andrew Billings. 1. player. 50. The Lions really did a poor job in addressing the loss of Suh. Halati Ngata is a likely cap causality, and with a new front office, the best way to build a team is to start in the trenches. Billings is dominating the line of scrimmage right now for Baylor and if he keeps this up, he could definitely be the first player off the board.. DT. Baylor

Laremy Tunsil. 2. player. 13. Re-watching the Chargers Monday night game against the Bears, it was evident that the Chargers need offensive line help. Even John Gruden pointed out that their oline is a mess. Phillip Rivers is getting hit more and more often and the team needs to get healthier on the line or draft some healthy bodies. OT. Ole Miss

Paxton Lynch. 3. player. 53. The Browns would be foolish to pass on Lynch. Johnny Manziel was not worth a 1st round pick. While he excited the fan base, he has yet to display any franchise qualities. Lynch has all the tangibles you want in an NFL QB. 6’6, 235 lbs, a legit arm and is leading his team to victories. Lynch could finally solve a decades old problem for the Browns. QB. Memphis

player. 35. Take a step back and think about who is architecting the Titans defense; Dick LeBeau and Ray Horton. They will be running to the podium if Bosa is available. LeBeau and Horton will ask Bosa to stand up in the Titans 3-4 scheme. This might be the steal of the draft.. DE. Ohio State. Joey Bosa. 4

Gus Bradley has actually drafted very well in the past few years. He has two very good number one and number two receivers and has addressed the running game with T.J. Yeldon.  The only problem is protecting his young quarterback. Stanley comes in on day 1 and wins any position on the line.. OT. Notre Dame. Ronnie Stanley. 5. player. 52
