Each week the Phinphanatic staff will bring you their prediction for the upcoming game.  This week has the Miami Dolphins travelling to Cincinnati to face the Bengals in primetime.

Mike Pouncey returns and so does the running game. This time around coach Gase will find and stay with the hot back. As a result the Dolphins slow start will vanish and that hot back will gain 100 yards. Andy Dalton will also be doing a vanishing act in the national spot light.  Prediction:  Dolphins 27 Bengals 20

Steve Boland

With a short week and little time to prepare for Cincinnati, the Dolphins face the Bengals in a battle of 1-2 teams seeking to avoid their 3rd loss of the season this early on. Every Dolphins game has finished within a possession, and Thursday night will follow suit with the Dolphins edging out the Prediction:  Bengals 24-21

Sean Denison

After the Dolphins escaped with the victory against a lowly Browns team, their task becomes more difficult: prepare for a much better team on a short week. Considering the Dolphins are banged up and still have trouble stopping the run, bad news looms for the Dolphins.  Prediction:  Bengals 27 Dolphins 16

Scott Lascari

The short week results in the team resorting to bad habits.  The Dolphins start slow yet again and match their first half points of the first two games.  The defense keeps it competitive enough and the offense warms up for a short time in the second half.  However, the offense, defense, and special teams cannot put it all together, commit penalties at critical times, and fail to make plays when most needed.  Cameron Wake will not save Dolphins’ fans from this Bengals nightmare, and the Dolphins fall again in a close game.  Prediction:  Bengals 24 Dolphins 17

Brian Miller

The Dolphins continue to start games slow and this week won’t be much different. They can’t however fall behind to the Bengals

early and expect to comeback in the second half. This could be an ugly Thursday night.  Bengals 28 Dolphins 17

Tyler Olson

Head coach Adam Gase has failed to have the Dolphins offense prepared to compete at the start of any games this season. With the short week and having to travel to Cincinnati, there’s no reason to believe the inexperienced first-year head coach will have Miami ready to go Thursday night. Prediction:  Cincinnati 30 Miami 23

Carlton Ray

The Bengals are on a 2 game losing streak, which should be 3 after they barely eked out a win over the Jets in week 1. They have as many question marks as do the Dolphins. Look for the Fish d-line, led by Vance Joseph and his intimate knowledge of the Bengals offense, to put a lot of pressure on Andy Dalton and for the Dolphins to get the victory.  Prediction:  Dolphins 24 Bengals 19

Matthew Stevens

Just like Miami played down to the Browns last week, I believe the Dolphins will rise to the occasion versus the Bengals.  Unfortunately, Cincinnati runs the ball well and AJ Green is an ‘alpha WR’, which play to Miami’s two biggest weaknesses.  Miami will put up a good fight but the Bengals will bully the Dolphins in the 4th quarter.  Prediction:  Bengals 27 Dolphins 20
