Darrelle Revis is billed as the best cornerback in the NFL and through his eight NFL seasons he has proven it. While no longer considered the shutdown corner he once was, Revis is still atop the NFL echelon at the position. His return to the New York Jets gives the AFC East team one of the most potent tandems at the position in the NFL.
Drafted 14th overall in the 20107 NFL Draft by the Jets, Revis has been named to the pro-bowl six times and has been named the AFC Defensive Player of the Year in 2009.
Revis has notched 391 tackles, 2 sacks, and 23 interceptions along with 123 passes defensed. When on the field his ability to shut down opposing receivers has forced quarterbacks to throw consistently elsewhere.
After leaving the Jets via trade to Tampa Bay, Revis spent one season with the Buccaneers before joining the New England Patriots as a free agent in 2014 where he appeared in his first Super Bowl.
