Number 4: The battle for DE
Cameron Wake and Andre Branch both will start but William Hayes will take snaps away from Branch in running situations, his forte’. The Dolphins however have some pretty solid talent at DE and that means competition behind the starters.
Charles Harris was drafted in round one of last April’s draft and he wants to showcase his pass rushing ability. He won’t be taking snaps away from Wake but he could push Andre Branch for time in obvious passing downs.
The other defensive ends to watch are Julius Warmsley and Terrence Fede. Fede has been around now for several years and still has not made a big move forward. It could be possible that either Fede or Warmsley make the team but potentially not both.
