Miami Dolphins MLB team all-stars, if of course the Dolphins were baseball
By Brian Miller
You can’t expect players to go a whole game, not always. In baseball, you have to be able to make changes to meet pitching substitutions and line-up changes. We have that covered as well.
This year’s MLB All-Star game will be hosted by Cleveland which means the DH will be in play and that is great news for the Dolphins All-Star team.
DH will be manned by Kenny Stills. He has the speed to get on base, lay down a needed bunt and bat in the 9th spot to give the Dolphins team a baserunner at the lineup turn. Stills is a homerun threat on the football field and a dangerous late line-up hitter.
If I need a pinch runner I have two at my disposal but the first guy I’m turning to is Jakeem Grant. Grant can steal second and third and I can use him to take home on a sacrifice bunt if I need to. My second is Kenyan Drake. He isn’t the fastest but he has good vision and can read the ball in the outfield and know if an extra base is needed or available.
