Ndamukong Suh

Suh arrived to the Dolphins via free agency. He signed the largest contract in Miami Dolphins’ history and was supposed to define the defense for years. For the most part, Suh did his job.

A disruptive force in the middle of the defensive line, Suh took on multiple blockers and played with a tenacious attitude that had been lacking on the Dolphins defense for years. There was no finesse for Suh, it was raw power and determination.

Suh didn’t find the same level of success that he had with the Lions and after leaving Miami two years ago, he has played one season with the Rams and in 2019 played with the Buccaneers. His career a far cry from what it once was.

Suh’s biggest issue, however, was the fact that Suh was all about Suh. He worked out on his own and never became a leader in the locker room. After leaving some players said that he was unapproachable.

He played three seasons for the Dolphins starting all 48 games he appeared in. He had 13 passes defensed and 15.5 sacks. Suh made 181 tackles with 108 of those solo, 37 of those were for losses.
