Dak Prescott – 26 years old

Dak Prescott wants a new deal that is North of the $30 million a season range. Why I have no idea. He has done nothing to warrant that kind of salary and frankly, Ryan Tannehill has done more. Prescott has a great breakout season his first year but the Cowboys offense hasn’t been stellar with him at the helm and that is behind one of the best offensive lines in the league.

Prescott isn’t a rumor or speculation, he simply is out there. Some think the Dolphins could pursue him as a projected long-term answer to the teams’ QB woes and thus free up the need to draft a quarterback in 2020. The idea of adding a top potential franchise QB in free agency is appealing but looking at the market, there is only one, maybe two at the most that would make sense for that line of thinking, and Prescott is not it.
